Peter D. Stevens Course on Innovations in Digestive CareColumbia University and Weill Cornell Medicine are proud to bring the Seventh Annual Peter D. Stevens Course on Innovations in Digestive Care to the GI community. You can help us continue in this tradition of excellence by participating in our course.
This program engages therapeutic and surgical gastroenterologists and advanced fellows in innovative and creative techniques to address common and complex gastrointestinal conditions over a two-day period. Now in its seventh year, the course offers sixteen didactic sessions, six live case presentations and a hands-on workshop. The course is one of the most respected gastroenterology conferences in the United States and features distinguished international faculty.
The course aims to help participants improve their ability to accurately diagnose and effectively treat the spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders, enhance quality in all practice settings, and embrace advances in healthcare delivery, payment systems, and healthcare information sharing. Furthermore, a focus on applying state-of-the-art technology in a cost-effective way, understanding trends in interventional endoscopic and surgical procedures, and fostering an evidence-based approach to endoscopic decision-making for commonly encountered and controversial problems in gastroenterology is key to this excellent learning experience. After participating in this course, attendees will elevate practice levels and enhance patient care and outcomes by applying cutting edge information and evolving technological innovations.
The Peter D. Stevens course historically welcomes participants from the metropolitan New York area including Northern New Jersey and Southwestern Connecticut. In 2016, we had the pleasure of sharing innovations with participants from 9 states and 5 foreign countries.
We offer several levels of sponsorship opportunities as well as face-to-face contact in our exhibit hall. If your company would like to sponsor this innovative and important program or exhibit during the course, please contact our Program Administrator, Robin Weidy.
